Mother is such a simple
word
But to me its meaning
seldom heard
For everything I am today
My mother's love showed
I think of all the things you
gave me
Sacrifice, devotion, love
and guidance
Your heart, your mind, your
energy and soul
All these you spent on me
throughout the years,
You let me know you love
me
In so many different ways
You make me feel
important
With encouragement and
praise,
From you I learned to
forgive
Faults both big and small
I learned what I know about
living from you
As you gave life your all,
Your sacrifices and
unselfishness
Did not go unnoticed, Mum
I admire you, I respect you
and I love you
I am so glad you are my
mothe
